I started an instagram page where everyone can contribute and offer people funny advice to deal with one day at a time.
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ and WHO website and Monachalabi's research-backed infographics.
Upload or share a link to this resource/message/source of information to share it with others.
In what ways did you change your behaviors as a result of this resource?
Washing my hands every hour, making sure we step out rarely out of the house. Make others in the family aware of the situation.
In what ways did you share this information?
Speak to them, share relevant research-backed Instagram posts, funny illustrations in my stories, any creative work I see to keep the spirits of my followers high.
What information do you feel you are missing about COVID-19?
It would be helpful to share stories about the recovered cases to give some mental peace to those of us locked down at home. Maybe some interviews on their personal experience.
Also getting to see how everyone else is coping during this time. Personal stories of creatives, freelancers trying to deal with their day during these odd times and how they lift their spirits could really give the rest of us some much-needed motivation.
What populations or personas are not currently being addressed with today’s COVID-19 information?
Workers and the demographic from the lower economic bracket needs our help the most at the moment. Most of them use Whatsapp to communicate, hence Whatsapp groups can be excellent ways of keeping them updated. The posts can be designed by creatives to spread awareness in the local language that can be forwarded and passed around in their network. There should also be a government initiative in place that provides the basics at subsidized rates to the working class.
