I’ve been watching NBC mostly, but I trust my friends on FB in my private group to provide fact-based science websites and articles. We’ve been following tweets from scientists and infectious disease experts, official sites like WHO and CDC, foreign news outlets (BBC, The Guardian) for non-partisan global news, and local tech-based magazines and op-ed’s (NYT, WaPo, Wired). Lately we are offering ways to help each other manage social distancing, isolation, and mental health (fostering animals, sharing movie recommendations, sharing login codes to renounce channels, sharing fears, sharing funny animal videos and COVID memes, calling one another, etc). First we needed facts when they were scarce and now we need life maintenance strategies as we become overwhelmed with the enormity of the situation. The originator of the group had to expand to 4 admins and now they’re all overwhelmed and we need more as the information explosion requires careful sifting and the group expands.

limiting social contact for several weeks already, knowing that my elderly family and immune compromised friends were at risk even if I showed no symptoms. we have all been in place more or less and telling others to isolate. Our taking it seriously affected others’ behaviors: we were among the first to contact government officials and news sources about dropping paywalls, and petitioning utilities to suspend shut offs. we all bought enough rations for only ourselves for two weeks, weeks ago.
