A small wats app group for a small community of houses on a street in the UK (10 houses). Information is offered about local schools, universities.  Offer of shopping for each other if anybody needs to go into isolation and the offer of English teaching.   A sharing of skills and the use of online digital conferencing or streaming.

It made me consider what skills, abilities or value I could offer to the group.  I saw my position as not one of isolation but of a team with a shared sense of support.

What information do you feel you are missing about COVID-19?

The importance of food security, not panic buying and not being selfish as this re-enforces panic and emotioanl reactions.

What populations or personas are not currently being addressed with today’s COVID-19 information?

People who panic buy food and supplies, this re-enforces fear of personal loss and difficult situation ahead from looking at empty shelves.  Causes social distress especially for a vulnerable population.

Visual marketing stating that supplies are safe:   Info on Supermarket entrances, sides of transport lorries, online shopping delivery trucks
