Information needs to be interpretated, daily news cycles lead to fatigue and foreign dispatches seem too far away to be relevant. People that living in countries that haven't experienced the new reality of Corona Virus don't understand the magnitude of what is about to happen because they will never have experienced anything like it before.
By letting people that we can all relate to, that have been through the experience tell their stories we can understand what might happen. We can empathise with human emotion. Once we have empathy and understand what has happened and what may happen the messaging around isolation, behaviour change and hygiene will resonate with the real urgency it requires.
