This idea empowers community health workers (CHWs) with information on COVID-19, and leverages the far reach of these CHWs to reach people
This resource details the most relevant information on COVID-19 and is easy for community health workers to understand and to use in reaching community members in rural and far flung communities
In what ways did you change your behaviors as a result of this resource?
I became a bit more conscious, increased my frequency of hand washing and started to use alcohol-based hand sanitisers
In what ways did you share this information?
I shared the material via whats app to our network of community health workers, and the Ministry of Health printed and distributed paper copies to the community health workers as well. These community health workers have been using these materials to educate caregivers and community members.
What information do you feel you are missing about COVID-19?
We are missing information on projected timelines for availability of mass testing.
What populations or personas are not currently being addressed with today’s COVID-19 information?
We should be designing COVID-19 information for rural communities and in ways in which these materials help rebuild trust in the overall health system (rather than just providing information)
