Creating a platform where people can transform the price of their usual takeout coffee into food for medical workers and those in need
Inspired by a broadcast message on WhatsApp regarding how to do a "mini-charity" during COVID outbreak. Online motorcycle delivery "ojek" drivers form a huge part of the Indonesian urban workforce, and currently they, along with small businesses, daily laborers, and FnB establishments, are facing a huge drop in earnings, threatening their very livelihood. This broadcast message urged those ordering meal delivery services to order food for the deliverers themselves, therefore giving back in a simple and contactless way. CoVood is a platform connecting donors, deliverers, small FnB businesses, and those in need; creating business opportunity and fulfilling the need of all.
