All over the world communities are coming together to support people who are self-isolating.  They are finding ways to distribute food effectively while maintaining a physical distance from each other.  Simultaneously farmers, growers, food businesses, cafes and restaurants are being forced to rapidly change their businesses both in response to the crisis and for survival. The food system must adapt quickly.

Open Food Network (OFN) is working with food businesses across the world to support this fast transition online. We are supporting businesses to set up an online presence, coordinate with suppliers and other businesses, plan their logistics and get trading online quickly. OFN is coordinating a set of resources on COVID-19 to help food businesses adapt, sharing best practice from around the world. If you want to move your food business online such that you can better support your community at this time check out this quick start guide or contact: hello@openfoodnetwork.org.uk
