To communicate with another person in video, simply go to c3.chat...(in chrome or firefox) no download needed.  Just accept mic and camera.

I based c3.chat on the research of several of my students at MIT and CMU

We were sending to SMS numbers, but that required an extra step. By sending to an email, you can simply click on the invitation. This is a video conference calling system. An anomous chat system can be organized (as we used to do it) by making the name of the meeting be public. You can use jitsi this way. I found that if I named a jitsi meeting "Hey" about every 5 minutes, someone random would enter my meeting, so make a jitsi meeting called Covid-19 ... and publicize it, I may join...
