Open channel for any people to share realities and issues by raising own voice to get supports
The youtube that a nurse from NHS uploaded was shocking and descriptive. How medical staff are challenged in this situation and how stockpiling affected her life and survival were very alarming.
The person suffering in the direct situation warned us about the seriousness and the small actions people made can affect other's lives so that I was thinking to how we can help these people rather than thinking about how I can keep afloat.
In what ways did you change your behaviors as a result of this resource?
I tried not to do panic buying and also had a look at volunteering on the NHS. Also, I wanted to share things I have not used with vulnerable people.
However, it was hard to find channels to donate things at this moment, and it seems they have a lack of guidance to protect volunteers from the disease.
In what ways did you share this information?
I used Whatsapp to my friends and classmates.
What information do you feel you are missing about COVID-19?
Media has not embraced overarching information from all walks of life. It has been published by the government so we cannot know the reality at the NHS, hospitals, schools, organisations and neighbourhood.
What populations or personas are not currently being addressed with today’s COVID-19 information?
Information and supports have been published on national sides and so it would be hard for visitors, international students and foreigners to keep afloat at this moment.
It is very imperative to know how others are suffering, the symptoms are like, what difficulties people have got from a real voice.
The idea of 24-hour Covid-19 radio enables all walks of life to deliver vivid and realistic messages which help people speak out, listen to realities and get supports from others and nation.
