A simple, agile and globally applicable solution to accept payments for a voucher that allows players in the experience economy to presell an experience in the future and get paid instantly.
Layered on top is a solidarity economic model designed to minimise risk for the consumer and incentive organic distribution of the offer to buy vouchers to a player.
The economic model is inspired by the patron model and means that 20% of the payment for the voucher is distributed to patrons who promote the voucher for the player and accept the shared responsibility of delivering what has been promised on the voucher. Including if the player should go broke.
So if you buy a voucher for a meal at a local restaurant and they go broke before you redeem it, the patrons have accepted the shared responsibility of making sure you get fed. That you get what you bought in the voucher.
On top of that there is possibility to layer virtual concepts provided by patrons which provides the consumer with an experience here and now when buying the voucher for the future experience.
The technical system has initial proof of concept where a local bar owner got paid instantly for a group of people who met for virtual beer o clock.
The sustainability of the economic model is to be tested. As of now I am liable for all voucher sales. I have a strong believe that this liability can spread through the incentivised patron model as I prove it's financially sustainable for me to take all liability myself.
The distribution of the offer to buy vouchers can happen through the players own channel to communicate to their customers - and through Patrons channels who essentially promote the voucher.
The system handels payouts to players, patrons and any other party instantly as a consumer makes a purchase.
Technically the system is both central and decentral, meaning it can easily be embedded into the workflow and web presence of players and patrons web presence. It can also be centralised on existing marketplaces like booking.com and a new place can created.
The agility of this is what is makes it able to scale as easy as possible.
