The new normal demands for new ways that will help us win the war against Covid 19. A change in lifestyle is inevitable to keep ourselves protected at all times. But even if you are careful, you can’t say the same for other people. 

We see crowds and we think to ourselves are they not aware that they should observe physical distancing? 

What if there’s an app that can alerts you if people around you are not observing physical distancing.

Introducing - Safe Distance -

An app that alerts you about people’s distance and helps you find a safe space to avoid the crowd.


How does it work?

1 Download the Safe Distance app.

2 Sign up and get an account for FREE.

3 It will alert you in two ways for you to observe physical distancing. 

3.a Voice prompt that tells you to observe a safe distance. 

Ex. “5 steps to your right to keep safe distance”

3.b Scan your surrounding to give you visual cues what is a safe distance.

4 Navigate a safe distance from the crowd through AI technology.


What is the need are you focusing on?

The campaign focuses on the need for people to be constantly reminded to observe physical distancing because not every place have markers to guide you to keep a safe distance from others. With this app it can protect you at all times by giving you alerts if people are too close.

Humans are social animals but we live in unprecedented times and keeping a safe distance can be a matter of life and death. Who would have though that distance can be a sign that you care. The app will always remind you to keep yourself protected by observing physical distance.

How we can quickly put up the AI to design and map out ways to avoid crowds. The data collection will take time.

People have a lot in their minds already so reminding them about how to protect themselves can be a great help and it changes their behavior.

Hi Min, this sounds like a great idea! Once people will be heading back to work, the app might give them some comfort in knowing who to avoid big crowds and if they are taking enough distance from others!
