Maize harvesting season has started in Tanzania. The crop is the main source of staple food for over 70% of Tanzanians. Describe the business pivot or adaptation in 3-4 sentences.

Our immediate focus is to enable peasants effectively harvest maize by providing modern maize harvest technology services (Maize shellers) to ensure they continue getting enough food during and after the COVID-19. The impact of the solution i. Proper peasant maize grains will be timely harvested in large quantities significantly. ii. Few labours will be involved in the process hence reducing the spread of COVID-19 which could be available if more manual labourers are involved in the process. iii. There will be reduced hunger and starvation since most peasants will be able to harvest grains on time. iv. There will be reduction in wastage of maize food grains since maize sheller machines are very effective than manual harvest hence maintaining family food security. v. There will be business development related profits emanating from the process (Multiplier effects). Resources needed include maize sheller machines, offices and stores, maize sheller transport tricycles etc
