The farm in a box is an entirely off the grid farming initiative that can be used in the rural or urban areas to grow produce using 75% less area. The produce is independant of soil and pesticides. training, mentorship and coaching is provided to ensure sustainability. This solution is critical post corona virus as people have become conscious about the foods that they consume and the effect it has on their health and the environment. Further with the large number of people unemployed as a result of the lock downs people and businesses are looking for a business that can give them a tangible quick return on investment. This certainly fits the bill.  

What is the need are you focusing on?

There currently is no such initiative in Africa where the man of the street can make a difference. This initiative will also provide employment and quick turn round on investment for businesses.

We are in the process of piloting the project in our Gauteng site. It will address the issue of carbon offsetting, off the grid farming. pesticide free organic farming.

the farm in the box has multiple advantages. it will produce off the grid pesticide free organic food. it will create a new breed of urban farmers that will reduce the carbon emissions of fresh fruit and vegetables from farm to fork.

we need the assistance of organisations that take what we have and have done and remould it into a an NPO that donors will wish to fund

our marketing budget and campaigns. also funding for the projects we wish to embark upon.

its not easy without funding and a ton of research has to be done to ensure success of any project

Thanks Isaac, We want to start with lettuce, spinach and micro greens. We will start with 2 * 40 foot containers. The cost per container "ready to go" is R350 000. I hope that you can assist
