To make better we should encourage better behaviors. The idea is to reconvert unused structures, buildings or areas, and open those to the public. The idea is to provide places for the communities by recycling and rethinking strategicly the city
Public spaces are fundamentals for the community activities. The citizens reflect the city. To "make better" the life and the experience of citizens we should make better public spaces and encourage a better and sustainable way to provide it.
Why not try to reduce the building construction and production in order to save peculiar or strategic "structure" to be reconfigured for the public use?
This could be able to realize an "acupunctural" intervention in order to activate nevralgic points and sensitive places of the city.
My idea is not a social action: my idea is to provide and suggest how to get the place for it, in a better way and in a more responsable behavior. It doesn't mean that must be expansive. It is possible to do beautiful and interesting interventions with limitated budget: have a look to the example I posted for you.
