We plan to pitch this idea to USAID, and deploy a prototype in a test market in Latin America. The drone, about the size of a football, collects data about mosquito density, and sends this data to doctors in research facilities around the globe. This data can also be made publicly available. We plan to test the prototype in areas known to be affected by zika and malaria. The drone also emits a sound frequency and scent that repels mosquitos away from the populous area.
