in less than a minute each lighter can be striped of the guts and the utilized for whatever purpose needed to create many new uses for this small disposable plastic. unfortunately I can into this contest with limited time left and limited resources to complete in time.

How does this research relate to our Use Cases?

Disposable lighters are a small format plastic that once is used up is thrown away. Unfortunately every lighter ever created is still on this earth and will still be here til the end of time. Whether a smoker or not , every person has uses for lighters from candles, camp fires, gas pilot lights and the list continues on. I am passionate about solving this problem for the future of our earrh and environment

What is a provocation or insight that might inspire others during this challenge?

Research has been done solely by me, reading much literature and visiting my local recycling plant- it is heart wrenching to see such a durable plastic not reused. A few ideas such as a Dropbox at locations that sell these items or even an incentive program to receive a lighter with so many returned such as a free lighter for every "10" returned, in order to get people s cooperation.

Tell us about yourself

I have been and inventer since I was 5 years old. i grew up in Naples , Florida with a Sister, I feel if given the opportunity with funds and time then I can solve or assist a team of people to solve more problems than just disposable lighters. For this contact I chose lighters.

A great testimony that i must share to all HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS patient in the world i never believed that their could be any complete cure for Herpes or any cure for herpes,i saw people’s testimony on blog sites of how dr Ero prepare herbal medicine that cure and brought them back to life again. i had to try it too and you can,t believe that in just few weeks i started using it all my pains stop gradually and i had to leave without the pills the doctor gave to me. Right now i can tell you that few months now i have not had any pain, delay in treatment leads to death. Joseph Golian  Thanks for sharing this research with us, and the interesting insights you've gained. Of the three use cases of plastics this particular challenge targets, which is the most translatable to this research? https://d3gxp3iknbs7bs.cloudfront.net/attachments/d7cfea9d-b5a2-4ce3-a8de-3e518a3c4b67.pdf
