The woosh water station is a smart, simple and sustainable solution for drinking clean water in public spaces. The station features a unique Ozone-based water purification system, and an Ozone-based bottle cleaning system. The station is designed to dispense chilled and purified water, for a fraction of the price of bottled water. The station can also rinse and sanitize nearly any bottle, regardless of size, shape or material

Our purpose is to provide cities a healthy, green, money-saving alternative to plastic bottled drinks.

A city deploying a network of woosh® water stations will benefit its citizens by actively promoting:

Ecology: decrease plastic bottle pollution, thus reducing waste and CO2 air pollution.

Health: increase water consumption by creating a convenient and reliable source for public water. Encouragement to drink water plays a key role in fighting obesity, by providing the optimum alternative to soft drinks.

Economy: creates new employment opportunities for residents (training & hiring local staff to operate woosh® network of stations). Reducing costs related to the collection and recycling of plastic waste. Saving money residents money that they would otherwise spend on bottled drinks

Idea Title

Woosh Water Systems - Let's change the way people drink water in public places.

Company / Organization Name

Where are you / your team located?

R&D and Production departments are located in Israel. Marketing & Operations are in Miami Beach FL

How does this Idea redesign unrecyclable small format plastic items that often end up as waste?

A wide spread of deployment of networks of Woosh stations across cities will directly decrease the amounts of plastic waste created by used plastic bottles. Indirectly, the woosh service prevents the plastic waste from getting in to oceans, where high percentage of these bottles end up in. Woosh's main vision is basically driven from a core sustainability principle – “Reduce waste by not creating it in the first place”

In what geographical context or area does your Idea plan to operate / solve?

Currently Woosh focuses on the American Market. We started from a small-scaled pilot in Dayton OH, and progressed to an upcoming large-scale project in Miami Beach FL. Other projects are on the agenda that are in negotiations with other cities.

At what stage of development is your Idea?

  • Operating Concept / Startup: You have fulfilled the stages of testing, undertaken a full scale roll-out, and are currently operating this concept/idea as a business.

Please describe your legal and organizational structure

Interesting but how can you make the distribution easier.

Hi olanrewaju Giwa I

It is great to see you in the challenge! Would you be able to clarify your question? What is particularly difficult about the distribution of Woosh Water? Where are the potential bottlenecks in the system?

ohad - I look forward to reading your responses to the questions.
