Plates are made from saal leaves or banyan leaves .So we can use the same leaves to make straws .They are environmental friendly and no need to recycle them.To make them attractive we can cover them with paper cover .

We can cover take away lids made of disposal paper which is used to make disposal paper cups .It serves the same purpose.

Which use cases does your Idea apply to?

This helps use case 3 where straws and lids are neglected and difficult to recycle .We can replace these plastic materials with environmental friendly materials like leaves and paper caps.

Hi Archana, are you imagining each straw being covered with paper? Maybe they could be grouped in larger paper packaging to limit the amount of paper required, depending on the market for these straws (since each should be individually wrapped for on-the-go use, versus in one big package for restaurant or home use).
