Polyethylene terephthalate, high-density polyethylene, low-density polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene,  and polystyrene… all these synthetic words that are so remote from nature were the subject of my study.
I started with a radically aggressive position of an environment defender and wanted to show all the terrible consequences that appear after using the materials listed above. However, as time passed, my views have changed. Plastic is an integral part of our lives and it holds the resources that can be used in future.

I took the first major polluter on the planet: the plastic bag - and recycled it in order to create a series of unique objects like raincoat, umbrella, backpack, bag and a plant pot ...

Now it is my alternative method of reusing simple and ubiquitous plastic thing as product bag.

Idea Title

One off plastic bags as the base for useful objects.

Company / Organization Name

Where are you / your team located?

At what stage of development is your Idea?

  • Piloting: You have started to implement your solution as a whole with a first set of real users. You may have started to develop a business model for your idea, including identifying key customer segments, relevant partnerships, go-to-market strategy, and draft financials.
  • Full-scale roll-out: You have developed a pilot, tested, and analyzed the impact of that pilot as it pertains to the problem scope. You are ready to expand the pilot significantly and begin to scale.

Please describe how becoming a Top Idea and working with the Think Beyond Plastics Accelerator Program will help to accelerate your solution.

For me the best thing was just to go through all the projects, which people from different countries, backgrounds and life it self have been performed. I spent a lot of time just watching and reading, it is inspired a lot by the amount and the passion..

Please describe from where your Idea emerged

It was my bachelor diploma project. It was a long journey from the beginning to an end, but exactly due to the educational research and experimental basics, it came up in such interesting form.

Tell us about your work experience
