How does this Idea redesign unrecyclable small format plastic items that often end up as waste?

COLOURFORM™ offers a sustainable alternative to plastic used within the consumer packaged goods market. Typical applications include box inserts to support, display and protect products, outer packaging and packaging components. It is made from 100 per cent renewable, natural fibres from well managed forests. Made from the same raw material as paper, it can be recycled easily with household paper waste. And because it is a natural product it will also biodegrade even if it does go to landfill

Which use cases does your Idea apply to?

COLOURFORM™ is widely applicable as an alternative to small format plastic items, extending beyond the specific use cases. Within these cases, this product is most suited to case 3 - take-away coffee lids.

In what geographical context or area does your Idea plan to operate / solve?

Our product has worldwide applicability.

How do you envision scaling up your Idea?

COLOURFORM™ has already been introduced to the marketplace and gained considerable interest. Recognising this challenge, we work closely with potential and current customers at every stage of their packaging development, to ensure that their design intent is fully realised.
