The drinks bottle would be easily washable. I have had mine 5 years. The idea is that they can be used for water, and manufacturers could sell drinks in concentrated pods, that can be added to water in your bottle for life.This would go hand in hand with the previous idea for more drinking water fountains in public places. Drinks manufacturers could also provide refill stations in public places, rather than selling their products in bottles.We live by the beach and carry out regular beach cleans. The biggest culprit is plastic single use drinks bottles. This would phase them out like we did with single use plastic bags in the uk. We could all have a bottle for life and reduce plastic bottle pollution worldwide.

How does this Idea redesign unrecyclable small format plastic items that often end up as waste?
The bottles are re useable and can have any logo/your name etc. We used a similar concept at the London Olympics, nobody working there was allowed single use bottles, we all had our own re useable one. These bottles are actually metal not plastic. 5 years on mine is still used every day.Which use cases does your Idea apply to?
Global. Everyone can have a bottle for life. Fill up stations at petrol stations/coffee shops and restaurants/train stations and public places,no need to ever throw it away.How do you envision scaling up your Idea?
Get supermarkets/sports companies,drinks manufacturers etc involved. Drinks manufacturers could use refill stations where you take your bottle and refill with your favourite drink, rather than selling bottled drinks.At what stage of development is your Idea?

I already have the concept, used at the London Olympics. There were thousands of staff and volunteers, we all had one. I still have mine and use it every day. I think this idea started small but worked so well, I would love to see everyone with one? I just need some help to get this off the ground. The bottles have been tested over the 3 week Olympic period, where there was one issued to each member of staff/volunteers, and refill stations located throughout the Olympic park.Please describe from where your Idea emerged
