Long Time Hummus is a new concept of Hummus packaging. We have eliminated the plastic film of the packaging, and instead, we use Agar agar seaweed, that can be eaten after used. In addition, on the plastic cover of the hummus we have added a QR code and a hastag: #2lifetoyourhummus. Once scanned, the final user can see two main things: 1) how to recycle the plastic packaging 2) a cummunity of peaple sharing ideas about how to reuse the packaging.

Brilliant delicious consept. It looks like it can be a similar process I am utilising for my contribution called Ikura - would you like to work as a team? I did not quite figure out how to add to the team so put as an inspiration. As far as I know from "water bubbles" there is still some issues to overcome what prevent products from being widely available and I think it's better to work on this issues together.

Hi Mar and team,

Great photos! It is clear to see that a lot of work was done at the OpenIDEO Barcelona hackathon.

How is agar seaweed packaging produced? What properties does it have?
