Including your children in caregiving.

It's only a movie but 'Honig im Kopf' showed me how a child can help taking care of a person with demention.

Children see problems differently. They are playful and adapt to different/new situations easily. A person with demention can sometimes act like a child and while the adult caregiver is frustated about that, a child seems to understand it or even laugh about it. Children can give a new perspective to understanding people with demention.

What is a provocation or insight that might inspire others during this challenge?

A caregiver does not have to be an adult person. A 10 or 12 year old can also take care of a person with demention. We should trust our children with more responsibilities.

Are you planning on posting an idea in the challenge? The ideas phase is now open. I hope I get to see you there.
