Refinement

Congratulations to the 45 shortlisted ideas moving forward!

During the Refinement Phase, shortlisted contributors will have the opportunity to iterate upon their ideas by gathering feedback, developing prototypes, and testing their implementation models. At the same time, we invite our OpenIDEO community to collaboratively strengthen shortlisted ideas through feedback, comments, and questions.

As part of the community, here are three ways you can help these Ideas grow and drive more impact:

  1. Share your feedback: Add a comment or insight. With just a minute of effort, you can provide valuable feedback for a Refinement Idea.
  2. Prototype in your city: See an idea that's relevant for your community? Test it out, gather feedback and share your learnings in the comment thread of the idea on OpenIDEO. Check out our Refinement Toolkit for step by step methods to do so!
  3. Collaborate: It's never too late to partner with a team. Whether you had a similar idea and want to join forces or you have skills to contribute to an idea in refinement, reach out to the innovator leading the idea and offer your assistance.

Final updates to ideas due by December 26 @ 6pm PST.
