Embracing the Role

Dementia is often undiagnosed, with signs and symptoms of the disease being mistaken for normal aging. For family members, recognizing and accepting that a loved one has dementia means facing a new reality. Embracing the role and responsibilities of family caregiver can be a difficult adjustment.
