A company with good values cannot create impact if they can't stay in business.

What better way to reward responsible companies than to give them customers who have similar values?

In the sea of choice it is difficult for individuals to identify the companies who are making the effort to be responsible. Goodguide has created a great database and interface that enables consumers to make informed choices. Experts score products. The complex analysis becomes an easy 1-10 rating which consumers can use to directly compare products. If users want to take a deeper dive into the composition of the ratings, they can easily do so with the interface.  Users can even create their own personal standards profiles to find products that fit their values. Users get the emotional benefit of peace of mind in making the right choice and creating a better world.

When consumers take action and reward the good companies, there is potential to change whole industries from resources, to manufacturing, to the lives and health of all the employees involved.

Good to see that GoodGuide is so popular. I think it's a great example. Will link my inspiration to this one to keep the connection.
