The G100 Summit is a venue for the top 100 most admired companies wherein they can submit to the panel and share or collaborate with other companies existing or newly proposed projects for world benefit. The joining 100 for-profit corporations are those that with highest credit points derived from the online voting platform. The online voting platform is designed for corporations to submit and post their actual projects and would be voted upon by the public for it to earn credits. Submitted projects in the online projects shall be subject to actual verification by a panel of judges. The Projects can be that of human welfare impact, environment, world economy and/or world peace. The culminating activity of the G100 Summit would be the televised awards night,  celebrating successes for the past years and where in selected companies among the great 100 will be featured in short video clips.

How does your concept celebrate, identify or inspire for-profit businesses that act as agents of world benefit?

If G20 summit or G8 exists because it means a better collaboration among member nations, then it would be best to organize a platform wherein corporations can cooperate to submit and show to the public for appreciation of their corporate projects for world benefit. The incentive for corporations would then be the chance to collaborate among the best peers and the chance to be featured in the one night awards night.

How will your concept help us create or leverage stories of world benefit that are sticky and shareable?

If Earth day celebration is gaining momentum year-on-year by simultaneous celebrations of key cities worldwide, how, much more if this is coupled by the G100 Awards Night in time for the great awareness of people all over the world who would be looking forward to the one night show as it would anchored by famous celebrities.

What will it take to scale your concept so that its reach is global and widespread?

The platform itself should be linked to popular sites such as FB and twitter and then the G100 Summit can be accessed publicly through an online portal. The G100 Summit Awards Night should be televised and key celebrities with worldwide influence can be tapped to anchor the show.

Interesting stuff, Eric. Do you imagine the 100 companies would just be large ones – or would there be room for smaller entities who may also have valuable lessons to share?
