The main building for St. Martin Primary and Vocational schools. After primary school, students are taught practical skills such as tailoring, secretarial work, hotel management, catering, which they are able to use to create jobs or to be self employed instead of becoming job seekers in a society with high unemployment rates.

We would like to increase our prosperity and planet impact by expanding the Vocational schools to increase the intake of students, who need to acquire skills, necessary for job creation and enterprise.
We would also like to put up two additional water projects, to supply water for domestic use and irrigation in other parts of the country apart from Mityana.
Who are the beneficiaries? (1,000 characters)
Our beneficiaries are in four categories.
our water projects in Mityana district -Uganda.
1. The community of Mityana District and Uganda at large is a number one beneficiary of the tap-water supply projects that we run. So far we have two water projects in Mityana-Kiyinda and in Mityana - Buswabulongo.
2.The students who have completed their primary school or secondary school education and would like to acquire practical skills, receive training from our vocational institute. So far, we have over 300 (Three Hundred Trainees).
3. Orphans pupils and poor parents are given free access to education at our kindergartten, and primary school (St. Martin Percoto Primary School, Mityana).

-Advantages our organization has: We are legally authorized to do what we do. We are a Charitable Company limited by guarantee. Under the governance of Fr. Joseph Sserunjogi (Director), Mr. Mutyaba John (Director) Ms. Josephine Najjuma(Director and Company secretary/lawyer), Mrs. Kabunga Irene(Director).
-We are guided by a team of authoritative and purpose driven board of governors and members inclusive of catholic priests and church members, who over see the day to day successful running of the projects.
-We use a report submission system to our sponsors detailing the accountability for and use of funds for every project development undertaken.
-These supply water to a population of over 6,000 people. We acquired a water permit from the relevant authorities, dug and pumped water from the water bed, which has solved major water crises till this day.
- we have chosen to address the unemployment crisis by imparting vocational skills. And to supply water to people at a larger scale.

We started in 1995, on basis of a donation to the late Namwandu Kiwanuka to cater for education of orphans by setting up a primary school. Soon were overwhelmed by the number of orphans in need of education. To worsen matters, after primary education, the orphans had no money to continue to secondary/ university and had no jobs. Through the generosity of some donors in Italy and Germany, we set up a Vocational schools section. We also implemented water projects to help to mitigate its scarcity.

-St. Martin Percoto Association is grounded in values of a Christian family tradition. St. Percoto Association is committed to being true to the vision of the schools founders; DON LAURO MININ (R.I.P), FR. HELMUT MAYR (R.I.P), MRS. KIWANUKA KEVIN NALWANGA (R.I.P), MRS. ANNI ETTNER (R.I.P), FR. JOSEPH SSERUNJOGI and are guided by their motto "Perceverance in God Pays".
-Initially, this was run as a primary school setting. And later, a vocational training section and village water projects.
Please explain how your selected topic areas are influenced, in the local context of your project (1,000 characters).
Prosperity: has been negatively impacted upon by the high unemployment rate. This is partly due to the high number of job seekers as compared to job availability. Our aim is to produce individuals who are job creation oriented. Individuals who have the necessary vocational skills and are vibrant enough to use their hands to set up job opportunities for themselves and to employ others hence the flow in the prosperity chain.
Planet: Initially, the levels of water scarcity in Mityana and surrounding communities used to shoot to near-drought. The few existent sources of water were unclean water wells for the poor, and taps for the rich and able. Through the assistance of donors from Italy and Germany, we were able to acquire water pumps and set up two water projects which supply water to all people.
Expanding the above projects implies an increased positive impact on both planet and prosperity.

Our community has a surplus of consumers. Water consumers.
There are several youth in our community who are in need of employment. These need to acquire skills in order to be able to be self employed or to easily acquire work in various societal settings.
This idea targets Uganda, in Particular, Mityana and its surrounding districts.
