This is a point of connection, a PoP Combines a Satellite back haul,solar or electric power and carrier class WiFi to connect a school,hospital or community center and users in the surrounding community to the Internet.

Rural Area Broadband Internet Networks are private membership operated community networks,established and operated in line with public safety requirements to help farmers,schools,hospitals and business owners with a Technology solution.The network delivers high speed Satellite Broadband Internet connectivity that powers the Project to ensure e-learning,e-farming,e-medicine,e-commerce and e-Governance are successfully implemented.
RABBIN Infrastructure also provides digital processes that help transform Communities into Professional Societies driven by information that enhance Competence development from basic to highly sophisticated skilled and Qualifications.We are building e-Societies&ICT human resource capabilities through establishment of organized environments that encourages networking of services,sharing Applications and Personal Enterprenuership development, Online Job Recruitment,Training&Placement etc.
RABBINs, help in solving the problems of service delivery in the social,Economic and Governance sectors of people living in Rural Areas.We believe the migration trends from Rural-Urban Areas will be reversed and more Urban dwellers will tend to work and Invest in Rural Areas.
RABBINs raise awareness for Government and Private sector spending in connecting Rural and disadvantaged areas to the internet.
Rural Internet networks also helps in the transformation of RURAL VILLAGES into DIGITAL SMART VILLAGES boosted by internet connectivity, locally and globally.This stimulates Investments,business Partnerships,Enterprise development,Innovation&Creation of Sustainable jobs.
WiFi hotspots built on VSAT and Terrestrial Broadband Internet Access solutions will help communities set up Telepresence Value Added Services,Distance teaching,e-libraries,Learn As You Go Services,Student-Teacher performance Management,Telepharmacy, TeleNursing,Patient-Physician Interaction Services,e-Medicine,e-Admin,e-farming and information on disaster recovery&management.

RABBINs provide schools,hotels,restaurants,medical clinics,hospitals ,local Governments with software to simplify daily transactions,increasing profits,efficiency and the ability for them to focus on inventory and customer service,Provide a plat form for the community to view,evaluate and interact with other enterprenuers,teachers,students,medical professionals and fellow farmers outside locations.We also have Every Child Online platform,modelled on e-learning,distance teaching,e-libraries and Learn As You Go services.Basically the RABBIN Infrastructure benefits a defined target group of 5 years of age up to 70 years with the rest being indirect beneficiaries.
This was a youth Enterprenuership workshop organized in conjuction with Busitema University,Uganda,East Africa.

>Enables Schools,Medical clinics,Community centres,farmers,set up new revenue streams from Internet Access services to supplement their financial budget Plans and perhaps choose to invest retained profit earnings in building more Telepresence facilities.
>While the traditional providers are centered in Urban Areas,We are in Rural Areas,Creating Sustainable Villages and Towns.
>The RABBIN Infrastructure enables setting up of e-learning,e-medicine,e-farming,e-commerce and e-Governance Platforms,creating tangible strides in the social,Economic and Governance spheres.Disaster recovery,management and offering business continuity Tele-services to the Rural communities.

>The occurance of landslides in my home Village,had there been Access to information,recovery and management would have been easier.
>The long distances to the nearby schools and medical facilities prompted me to begin this initiative so people can do Online diagnosis and treatment,Patient-Physician Interaction services,Distance teaching,Learn As You Go services etc.

Rural Area Broadband Internet Network Concept was born as a result of the need to Connect Rural Areas both local and globally with an Affordable,Reliable,Accessible and Manageable Internet Access that would in turn help in the transformation from Rural Villages to Smart digital Sustainable Communities,Start an Aggressive Computer literacy training,disaster recovery and business continuity Tele-services,Professional business support for Rural SMEs and Enterprenuers,Online shared services in Education,Healthcare,Agriculture,Public and Tourist services,Set up of Community Websites,mPortals,ePortals,App-App voice calling,Video conferencing,VoIP and e-commerce Enterprises for exchange of goods and services.

Currently we are working with Dabani Community Enterprise Development Organization(DCEDO) in Eatern Uganda,Hii5 in Western Uganda,Landmark Development Association in North East,Achumet Oditel,Ngora Golden all in the East and Ndejje Kanaba Community Enterprise Organization in the Central region.
We are also Partnering with Vox Valley Technologies Singapore for VoIP,White label Apps,Integrated Payment systems,softswitch phone etc,truiT Uganda Ltd,the Authorized agents for Yahclick,Satellite Broadband VSAT equipment and other integrated network solutions,Semu Muganda Investments Uganda Ltd for Computer literacy and Enterprenuership training.

The strengths and sustainability of this project is based on the Community willingness and Government that has been made to better understand the RABBIN Concept,Also in most developing countries like Uganda,life normally begins in No WiFi Villages,socially and Economically isolated societies, RABBIN solutions e.g e-farming,e-commerce,e-healthcare,e-Governance,Computer literacy have been seen as the only redeemer available to offer tangible solutions for the sustainability of these communities.
