Globally it is dire need of time to make communities economically, culturally, socially and environmentally sustainable. The focus of the project will be sustainable development by training marginalized of Lahore, Pakistan to maximize the use of existing resources and skills and make sustainable living in all ways. The focus of the project will be will be achieving sustainable development goals including gender equality, eradication of poverty and hunger, promotion of education, promotion of indigenous craft, environmental sustainability, cultural sustainability, control of disease and global partnerships for sustainable development. It will be eco-friendly and diverse project designed to give a green future to all.

Who are the beneficiaries? (1,000 characters)

This innovative hub will be a center of all innovative and sustainable ideas for the promotion of indigenous craft and will provide green environment for the marginalized society of Lahore Pakistan and later on this model can be replicated globally according to the indigenous needs and environment and requirements.
The major areas of concern will be providing this eco-friendly smart city and create sustainable places to work, live and interact for people of all age groups .Not only this it will work towards embracing sustainability and create tangible business solutions by promoting indigenous handicrafts of the region. The project will aim to provide modern, affordable and clean energy. The project will have radical innovative ideas to meet the needs of future generations. The modules will be developed and replicated in different parts of the world according to local needs.
The idea is to evolve Innovative solutions that can build resilience within marginalized communities.

How is your idea unique? (1,000 characters)

The idea is to address and target the issues of the marginalized which are poor housing , social isolation, fragmented services and limited economic opportunities. Poor housing issue will be addressed by providing them will vernacular structures which will be used making locally available materials and using passive techniques with intervention of modern technology to make them economically sustainable and energy efficient.
Social isolation will be dealt with by making this a hub for the promotion of culture and arts and craft where globally tourist will visit this innovative hub which will be developed on the same module as Chatachuk market in Bangkok and Asiateque. The module will also have cultural influence of the local festivals of the region.
Primary concern will be efficiency of services and private and public partnership to make this project a success in all areas.
This cultural hub will be designed on the same principles and will be full of innovative ideas for all classes.

My trip to Thailand where I went to Chatachuk and floating market and explored how they promote handicrafts at all levels.
These markets are cultural hubs and revenue generation for local craftsmen of the region.

This project will be developed at a small scale within the city with the same basic principles of sustainable urbanism as discussed earlier.
The site can be any squatter settlement which is already occupied by the marginalized of the society. After testing and running this project at a small scale we can develop a cultural hub and finally this module can be replicated globally.
The project will focus on promotion of local craft.The Mud Works is an ancient practice in Punjab. Generally it is a trend in Punjab to plaster the walls of the house with mud and then create different motifs and designs on them. The carpenters of Punjab are renowned for their skills in Wood Works. The carpenters generally make the comfortable beds. The carved legs of these beds were known as the Pawas. We will involve Pak Foundation High School which is already esblished school for underprivilidged students established by my grand mother in law in 1956.
together with this other NGOs and government will be asked for support of land and subsidization.
Project will propose initiatives that use new technologies and ways of working to provide opportunities for youth based on local specificities and needs. Ideas that will promote and enable youth entrepreneurship and innovation using local assets, particularly among young people who may not otherwise have become innovators.
Ideas responding to current or future requirements in the local community for skills and experience, or ideas developed from locally-available skills and experience.
Solutions to improve the quality of life and financial or social security of young people in irregular work.
Innovations that provide information, advice and guidance to young people so they can navigate their options in the new economy.

The community has a lot of young people and crafts which can serve as revenue generation for times to come.
