Lovers of Self #selfloveispurelove
Our most complex issues, are rooted in a lack of self-love. When filled with self-love, I am pure to self, to others and to the planet.
Explain your project idea (2,000 characters)
The project idea is to travel 1,000,000 miles (40x around the earth) in a VW Love Bus or Bug leveraging my positivity resonance to bring interventions to communities in need to release stress, dramas and traumas through coaching/counselling practices built on positive psychology, neuroscience and forgiveness. This release of old energy, stress, trauma, will support the "opening of hearts, minds and beliefs about what it truly means to have a flourishing world.
The challenge the idea solves for is to prepare humanity with the grit, resilience, mindfulness and wholeheartedness needed to take on our pressing wicked environmental, social and governmental challenges we face in this VUCA world (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) of the 21st Century.
The program will work by providing mobile "drop in" activities based on forgiveness, trust and grit, coordinated with local communities, organisations and institutions creating space for well being, self-love and flourishing. The idea is to have a series of "love busses" with qualified counsellors and practitioners driving around in every country /region bringing tools and interventions that activate the provision of self-love and self-care by hosting practical self-love and self-care workshops/discussions in a mobile context (like a food truck that serves self-love). Oh yeah, and there will be cookies.
WE would like to create a Global Self-Love day and one day a google doodle for self-love, promoting where the "Love Bus will be".

How is your idea unique? (1,000 characters)
My idea is unique in that it has people understanding more deeply the affect of their Allostatic load (the wear and tear of chronic stress) on their body, and gives them ways to achieve Allostasis (the body's ability to stabilize during change).
I believe that this approach will be successful for 2 main reasons:
- It gets people identifying and feeling; in concrete ways, the affect of the weight of our emotions, stress and change on our bodies over time.
- It provides a quick and accessible way to release these old beliefs, traumas and stressors through meditation. somaticpsychology and deep reflection for release.
My approach brings the weight of our emotions and stress on our bodies to a tangible output and provides a mechanism for reflection, release and renewal in a psychologically safe space.
This is a purely somatic experience that brings people back in touch with their bodies to create an open space for joy, curiousity and love.

I was inspired by this project by Acumen's Readings that Matter back in 2014, where we read MLK's Letter from a Birmingham Jail" where Dr. King reminds us of the power of love is better than the love of power.
My personal story of healing from trauma as well as my work in Positive Psychology and Organizational Change serve as the theoretical research and practical experiences that underpin my idea for promoting self-love as the answer to our most challenging problems.
Please explain how your selected topic areas are influenced, in the local context of your project (1,000 characters).
Peace is influenced by self-love through a larger sense of belonging and inclusion in the world.
Prosperity is influenced by self-love through a broader sense of what prosperity is for the individual and the world. (My needs are based on intrinsic/eudaimonic pursuits vs. hedonic adaptations of prosperity).
Planet is influenced by self-love through a deeper sense of connection to Gaia as our life support system and main source of healing and thriving.
