INTRODUCTION: Socio-economic development is the prime duty of the state. But for resource-constrained developing country like Pakistan there so much the state can do. Majority of Pakistanis are deprived of the fundamental needs and suffering with poverty, hunger, substandard housing and poor health-care. According to UNDP, Human development index pakistan ranks 144th. To fill the gap left by state, different non-profit organizations, including NGOs, trusts and foundations, are playing a vital role and many companies of Pakistan are directly or indirectly funding or sponsoring the causes as their CSR activity. It is also our responsibility to contribute to the betterment of home. We are stepping ahead than just doing a CSR activity by integrating social-good within our business model, so we can contribute not after we earn, but along with what we earn. That’s where CharitySharity came into existence. ChairtySharity enables you to give charity without paying a penny, by simply sharing your presence at retailer's location, on social networks "CharitySharity is a platform to sponsor user’s favourite charity causes, by promoting retailers on social networks." So, whenever the user shares his presence on social network, like Facebook, through our app we will make a contribution to user’s favourite charity. “A simple and fun-loving way to give back!” By adding retailers on our board, the outcomes will be:  The brand will get a hype and reach through the participants, within social media.  For each Check-in the customer does, at least 75 friends of the customer will have a look of that feed, which will give much better result than any social media ad. Campaign.  Their brand will get a recommendation by the customers to their own friends and social network, which is too effective as compared to Brand’s own promotional ads.  Retailers will be introduced as a contributor of CharitySharity and in raising charity, which adds the goodwill.

Who are the beneficiaries? (1,000 characters)

Our focus is to help the underprivileged by increasing the funds for charity causes. In the beginning, we are assisting them through the partnering with the top charity organizations of Pakistan. Later on we will initiate our own charity causes linked with corporate organizations.

How is your idea unique? (1,000 characters)

It's the only platform focused on converting digital promotion into charity, becoming the bridge between corporate organizations, local community and underprivileged. By applying social impact, we have ambassadors in all universities of Pakistan, a unique advantage in increasing social awareness. Our approach is to convert all digital activities into charity with a strong revenue model. For now, we are focused on CheckIns(sharing location) and brand subscriptions.

In my software company, my team member's daughter suffered with cancer. His daughter got the treatment through a charity hospital and 20% of the expense paid by my designer and that's when he shared that he does not have enough money but if there's anyother way then he would love to donate to that charity hospital and that what me think of a platform like Charity Sharity.

Please explain how your selected topic areas are influenced, in the local context of your project (1,000 characters).

This idea is relevant to peace and prosperity, as it bridges the gap between the previliged and underpriviliged, which brings harmony and prosperity to nations. By giving social media activities a purpose we are changing the mindset of youth, so all of their actions are linked with assisting others. On the other hand, we are onboarding different corporates so they can assist by linking their products with the underpreviliged as well.

Who will work alongside your organization in the project idea? (1,000 characters)

We have onboarded top charity organizations so to raise charity for them and in return they are sharing their millions of charity followers. As our clients, we have 15+ retailers on board who pay us whenever user checkIns at their place through our platform. Regarding corporate we are in disucssion with telcos and broadband operators to donate their products to the underpreviliged in return of our users' checkIns. This will be a CSR campaign which will help them in raising their users and in return will raise the standards of education and living.

Please share some of the top strengths identified in the community which your project will serve (500 characters)

We have 150 ambassadors from different universities nationwide, who assist us through their skills like content writing, designing, photography and by spreading the word. 50,000 potential followers of onboarded charity organizations. We have done couple of event in top commercial malls as it provides promotion and hype to their brands as well. In return of each checkIn we have given meal to the underpreviliged.

How many months are required for the project idea? (500 characters)

Our focus is to increase fundraising to $70,000, for the onboarded charity causes, in 1.3 to 1.5 yrs through our unique platform, by providing digital promotion of brands. After this we will proceed to our next target.

Great idea and cause! This is a great way to take advantage of social media and networks to promote worthy causes. Have you considered using it to also promote events and volunteer opportunities? I imagine out of the many people who are willing to promote an organization, many will also be willing to mobilize and contribute through their time and actions. It would go along with the idea of non-financial contributions and could bring much help to important causes :)

Thanks for sharing your insights :)

You are right, that's also a vertical which is relevant to my idea but for now am focused on converting digital activities into monetary charity successfully. The very next approach am focusing on is to add gamification in this platform so to increase the traction level of users. Later on, it shouldn't be dependent on other social media networks but it should act as a separate social media platform dedicated to charity causes, but interesting enough that people love using it.
