Plastics play a significant role in the environmental, societal and economical dimensions of sustainable development. It is an inexpensive, lightweight and durable material, which can readily be moulded into a variety of products that find use in a wide range of applications. As a The project methodology represents on degradable plastics that do not harm the consumer and the environment, so that the project takes into account the moral and professional aspects, so as to avoid all plastic devices used for medical purposes such as injections as well as avoid the use of drums of toxic chemicals fear of serious health effects. The project also takes into consideration that the products of plastic recycling are far from toys. Therefore, it was limited to the manufacture of electric hoses using modern machines that are characterized of producing many shapes and sizes of hoses. The project's quality reveals in the step of manufacturing that will go through all scientific and technological stages in order to ensure the quality of the product. The process will be carried out from beginning to end in the same place under the supervision of extensive experience in this field. In addition to value - added that appears in washing and drying step before shredding process, which will enhance the competitiveness of product, especially in the process of manufacturing, which facilitates the process of forming the product, while it is that many of the workers in this area and competitors do not do this stage and evidence of the speed of some damage Plastic products are traded in the market. Therefore, the project is considered the strongest and the first competitor in the market.Therefore, plastic recycling is one of the most important method of treatment and processes that reduce environmental damage caused by waste disposal ways such as incineration, which causes diseases and serious damage to the environment as a whole in addition to material and economic effects

The project is located in Toobas Governorate in West Bank in Palestine, which lacks of implementation such plastic recycling projects. This is the first project in the governorate. It will be implemented around West Bank cities. The location is relatively far away from the population and has been tested to maintain the public health. As well as the availability of water, electricity, ease of movement, transportation and access to customers. of course, here, the beneficiries are all habitats and environment

- The project idea is the first of its kind in Toobas governorate and there is no competitors. - By applying the comprehensive quality system: Access to a product of high quality that matching the criteria and standards of the product obtained from the new plastic. -Reduce Plastic waste aiming to increase production -Clean- up the plastic waste thoroughly and remove all oils and grease -Stay away from plastic waste that causes diseases -Regular maintenance for all machines and equipment -Periodical maintenance to ensure industrial safety procedures -Determination of final product testing in terms of dimensional review, thickness measurement and product weight using modern technological tools The project also takes into consideration that the products of plastic recycling are far from toys. Therefore, it was limited to the manufacture of electric hoses using modern machines that are characterized of producing many shapes and sizes of hoses.

Moreover, he is very interested and has a strong desire to prepare, implement and develop an environmentally friendly project and the exploitation of everything that is small and large may harm the environment and could be brought a benefit to societ

It is noticed that the world's yearly consumption of plastic materials has increased from around 5 million tons in the 1950s to nearly 100 million tones today. In the meanwhile, while we have used such enormous amount of these products, we also produced enormous plastic waste and we could not ignore the long term effects on the human and their immoderate uses are serious, giving us grave concern about our environment, where plastic waste can not decompose in a short time and its terrible effects remains on the environment for a long time. These plastic wastes, if accumulated, placed the environment and agriculture land at greater risk of pollution.Therefore, plastic recycling is one of the most important method of treatment and processes that reduce environmental damage caused by waste disposal ways such as incineration, which causes diseases and serious damage to the environment as a whole in addition to material and economic effects at the same time.

Dear Abeer,

We would like to know how we can work together with your project, in a way such that you take care of recycling of plastic, in the way you do it, then you deliver this as a raw material (as pellets or in other usable forms) for the manufacturers of the solar concentrator in the various countries.

We have a business model where we give away the entire physical construction to the manufacturers in various countries, based on that they sign up for our quality control and quality assurance system, which shall ensure that all produced plastics can be recycled, and that the manufacturer maintains a fund for recycling such that recycled products are being paid for - that is - owners of solar concentrators who returns broken, bent, or worn out components, will be able to get a substantial refund, when returning the components to the manufacturer.

The manufacturer will then - that's what we thought in our end - be able to recycle via your processes, into usable pellets again (or granules, or which ever form the recycled plastic comes out).

We are adding certain additives to the plastics, which ensures non-hygroscopic properties and non-sensitivity to UV-light. This should, according to those we are talking to, provide durability up to 25+ years of the plastic, in an outdoor environment.

We are in dialogue with various recycling companies, however, your project appears more appealing, as it is more specific as to the outcome of the recycling, while other companies we are in dialogue with, are not doing such a good differentiation of the source plastic, and thereby the quality of the other companies's plastics deteriorates over time, leaving a greyish mass of different polymers, which can not be accounted for in terms of its capabilities / properties.

Would you be able to and interested in conversations in regards to how we could apply your system for recycling, on a global scale? I am not sure how it can happen, given that we have this different business model, but one way could be that we put you in contact with the manufacturers whom we will be working with and giving our product to - then surely you could be working something out?

Dear David and Thomas,
Thank you very much for your response and quick contact and it will a great privilege to work with each other. Firstly, I would like to explain some points:
- the project will be implemented in Palestine, So, How could we coordinate our work and it will be under what? "You will be a partner, a founder, a donor, a partial support and financial support"? . As my aim of register at OPENIDEO is to look for a financial support to start my project on the ground.
- my partner and me have enough experience in plastic recycling and we are too ready to implement it as its the first of its kind in the area where we live. we are believe that it will be successful and profitable.
- Your work is definitely interested and wonderful but honestly, I feel hesitate about the understanding your business model as we have no experience about the physical construction and solar concentrates . However, if you explain more and if we contact more, we could catch the point and develop work as yours.
- I am still hesitate about the possibility of our partnership if it is, because of the place "country", if you have any idea, please provide me with it.
- I would like to assure our quality and control and ready to work as it is the first time I contact internationally and I think it is an important opportunity to keep it with contact

Dear Abeer,

There are at least 2 ways this would work:

1) We would send to you all 3D drawings, such that you in Palestine can print the components of the solar concentrator by use of filament / granules made by your recycled plastics. We would naturally have to work with you on how this could happen.

2) We would here in Kenya, where we ALSO have too much plastic, be working out using your methods together with locals to collect plastic for recycling and then we would create pellets/granule and do our experiments here on using recycled plastic for production of the solar concentrator components.

We expect that all the physical components of the solar concentrators must be printable in 3D (to begin with). Thereafter we expect that when the physical model has stabilized then we will create moulds for plastic injection moulding and then it will be much easier to use many types of recycled plastic.

ONE constraint though: We need to add UV-stabilizing additives and anti-hygroscopic additives for the plastic to survive 10+ years in the usually hard outdoor environment.

How does this appear to you where you are? One of the points of this way of working together is, that we can practically send to you all about the solar concentrator, and you can then manufacture it locally - and you can do the same - send all of what you know about recycling of plastic (especially how to sort it at source), then we can apply that, here.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks for your open mind to testing if this can happen. We would be proud to work with you guys in Palestine, as we think renewable energy and recycling and such things are parts of ending conflicts.

For the sake of good order - you would not pay a single cent for the drawings - we are giving away the production. So when we are ready, we will simply provide you with links to the drawings then you can download them and start.

We charge the end user USD 10 for setting up. He can then download the configuration as many times as he wants, for his location. If he moves, he will pay USD 10 again. If he so desires, he can sign up for improvements / maintenance of the software, for another USD 5, every year. The annual maintenance is not mandatory and not necessary, but smart.
