TEAM 54 PROJECT is an African initiative on climate change and the little ways we can mitigate and tell the African story.

We are doing this by finding and recruiting passionate individuals and leaders, mentors with experience from all over the global.

Whatever passion you have been it poem, fashion designing, IT, research work or singing, this passion is fused into this initiative to help raise awareness, educate and enlighten the global community about the challenge and for all our foreign friends that are members you can get first-hand facts from the African here who are from 39 out 54 countries.

Our radical idea.

There will be 54 engagement which represents the number of African countries, we have currently.

This engagement is endorsed by the TEAM 54 PROJECT Technical GROUP. and any of our members can equally participate but all QUEST/engagement have to pass the criteria to be called a QUEST or engagement for TEAM 54 PROJECT.

This initiative is run throughout for just a year. In each engagement, we will single out a nation in Africa that it will represent and collectively we will raise awareness of their current predicament with respect to climate change impact. We are almost half way now.

What are these engagements?

These events are in the following forms but all must primarily be to talk and take action against climate change  plus to raise awareness on climate change;

The forms are as follows;

1.Attending training that discusses climate change (Colorado was our first engagement and we campaign for over 9 countries) our Colorado partners and members can confirm it.

2.Speeches/presentation on climate change (Poem recital composed for the TEAM 54 PROJECT).

3.Organising workshop and conferences

4.Supporting and partnering with a similar organisation that share our goals.

5.Joining and taking part in an organised march or rally for climate change and solution.

6.Granting TV/Radio interviews to talk about climate change. We have 4 already and have done a short one via a platform in Mexico.

7.Encourage research work on climate change and support publication of members research work all credited to TEAM 54 PROJECT, this will count as an Engagement.

 We have 7 invitations to make presentations of our published articles, one of our work is already being presented as we speak at the UNESCO bioethics Conference in Cyprus today as we post. it discusses the impact of climate change on immigration and repercussions to mankind.

Personal project of any of our members that are cleared by the Technical TEAM in solidarity for climate change impact for African countries will count and be accepted with acknowledgement sent.

8.Signing and delivering of petitions in support of Climate Change for the benefit of Africans who are the most affected in the world sourced from UNFCCC.

9.Support for Renewable Energy

10. Finally, in the end, TEAM 54 PROJECT will host of the Grand Finale by the 54 QUEST/Engagement in an African country that our chairperson on selection and her TEAM will choose. She is Carol Strang Bercos from Chicago.

We will Reward 54 active members by giving them 54 customised T-shirts with an African country emboss and we intend to give Mr Al Gore the 1st T-shirt for his role in the climate change movement Globally.

Already we have 21 selected Ambassadors plus including Mr Al Gore locked in with us. These ambassadors have distinguished themselves and they are from all over the global.

Who Benefits?

The 54 African countries are beneficiaries by speaking at international events, or carrying out our activities as a group on social media we are raising awareness

How is your idea unique?

Raising awareness usually entails going to meet rural people affected the most, in our initiative we are doing the opposite we are reaching out to advanced nations and attending international conferences to raise awareness. we equally are employing all our member's passions as highlighted above like poems, singing to raise awareness and after one year. we intend to take climate action. It's a success because we are touching lives and people are joining from all over the world our group to raise awareness for Africa and our campaign is getting noticed. we are using a global collaboration to solve a continent problem

Idea Proposal Stage

  • Full-scale roll-out: I have completed a pilot and analyzed the impact of that pilot on the users I am trying to reach with my idea. I am ready to expand the pilot significantly.

Hi Daniel, I just wanted to make sure this project isn't affiliated with any registered Non-profits or formal organizations?

It is not affiliated with any organization, its a new initiative of fusing passion of others to drive the climate change solutions, but more importantly solving African problem on climate change with a global perspective and through a shift from the norm.
