EXPLAIN YOUR IDEA

Many of the returning veterans face invisible wounds of war. By utilizing horticultural therapy principals, the clients of Arbor Health have created sustainable gardens for themselves and the immediate community surrounding their campus. (Arborhealthmgmt.com) It has now grown to create a food exchange with Operation Food Search, providing fresh produce. Arbor Health and its' clients are now affiliate members of A Future Without Poverty and have a new mission on life. Goal #1 to provide healthy organic food for its members and greater community. Through FWOP, Arbor will strive to replicate its sustainable urban farming in the first FWOP affiliated countries of Ghana, Uganda, Kenya and the Ivory Coast.

WHO BENEFITS?

This is a wonderful idea! I love how it links the needs of our Veteran's to the needs of their communities and helps to develop thoughtful relationships. I'm interested to follow your progress and see how the concept evolves in other locations. Keep up the great work!
