Please elaborate on your proposed solution to the challenge in no more than 300 words.

Research has shown that getting to know members of groups decreases othering. Children with atopic dermatitis may be less likely to experience bullying if their classmates get to know them by hearing about their experiences with the disorder. This could also decrease the confusion and fear that may lead the other children into hostile behaviors. Further, offering training courses on public speaking and leadership may have positive impacts for the children with atopic dermatitis that will be beneficial throughout their lives, such as increasing self-confidence, and can help children network with others who also live with atopic dermatitis. A number of studies have demonstrated that training delivered in health-care settings can be effective. The courses could be delivered in settings where children with the disorder are treated.
