Geography of focus (500 characters)

Our project is located in Brazil, Sao Paulo - SP, in the region of Casa Verde Alta, where we have a large amount of Bolivians. We help approximately 70 Bolivian families with basic needs and take care of their children through sport. Today we have a total of 150 children, where 100 children are Bolivian. We believe that in our region we have many more families with basic needs.

Building Bridges: What bridge does your idea build between people on the move and neighbors towards a shared future of stability and promise? (500 characters)

Our goal is to build a bridge with the community and the Bolivian immigrants. This would help us improve coexistence, discrimination, that Bolivian children do not go the way of drugs, violence and can teach us their culture and make this exchange. Through sport and art, we believe this will be possible, this community connection with immigrants can greatly help us grow and help more families.

What human need is your idea solving for? (1,000 characters)

We need to integrate them into society and the community, meet their basic needs, help them develop, many have no studies, resources to get medical, dental treatment, many are unable to buy a brush and toothpaste, help them to develop socially, professionally and have confidence in their social lives. They also have a lot to teach us and we will be the intermediaries between immigrants and the community, bring everyone closer and we form a big project, with mixed cultures and with that we will develop more and more.

What will be different within the community of focus as a result of implementing your idea? (1,000 characters)

For us the focus is to get children off the street and this is a problem in our neighborhood, where most are very poor, live in slums and often have nothing to eat and with the idea of our project is to be able to see a In a different world, away from drugs and violence, we want to see families supporting their children, seeing them at school, having some dignity, which motivates us to grow in the community, to expand our project through the neighborhood, and we will be realized when child who practices boxing, to become a professional, this is our goal.

What is the inspiration behind your idea? (1,000 characters)

The idea came because we see the neighborhood kids helpless, with no one to help, our government doesn't give any assistance and the kids end up on the street, don't go to school, don't get parental incentives, where some are even stuck, They are raised by their grandparents and we want to be able to help, put them on a good path, showing what is right, developing in sport and helping families and sticking to the basics.

Describe the dynamics of the community in which the idea is to be implemented. (1,000 characters)

We would very much like our project to work every day, so we could help to give jobs to the people of the community, they would have the function of helping in the development of the children, having a space with library, arts, sports, lectures, a kitchen, where If they could have breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack, it would be ideal for the community to have this space and we believe that with that we would have many community volunteers.

How does your idea leverage and empower community strengths and assets to help create an environment for success? (1,000 characters)

Our project was well received by the community, although we have some volunteers helping us, today we have around 15 volunteers, our project only works on Saturdays and part time. Our strength is boxing for children over 10 and it helps to develop the mindset of children by focusing, respecting and always learning to help others. And the advantage of having this project and this strength is that we can help families that are part of this project with the food we receive from donations.

What other partners or stakeholders will work alongside you in implementing the idea, if any? (1,000 characters)
