What problem does the idea help to solve and how does your solution work? (2,000 characters maximum)

LIMITLESS is to be an Artificial Intelligence universal language Algorithm. Its mainly for Africa with a purpose to enable seemless communication between each and everyone, through a universal language mechanism for text, Braille, audio, optical character recognition, Signing detection from one language to any language as required by the user with customized output based on user preferences, environment, body capability, Real time optical input and output to and from; text, brail, video, audio, literature from and to any language. Comprises of an Artificial Intelligence Algorithm combined with data input and output hardware for problems such as; Reading, Writing and Math in capabilities, limitations in information & education access for blind, deaf and native language only speakers where most need access to special programs to learn, limited understanding of product description, drugs prescriptions and machinery manuals for end users, unequal opportunity access due to language barriers, limitations in communication between volunteers and locals, high costs of translation. The hardware is customizable for all users and feedback is real time. It will Enable easy communication between volunteers, rescuers, and other AID service providers with the affected victims including evacuation procedures, first aid, etc It will Enable the understanding of instructions on medicines, equipment set up and usage procedures, counseling of victims, reports among others for both AID victims and volunteers, rescuers, and other AID service providers. Provision of relevant information and data from victims and AID service providers for quicker assessments and better resource allocation. Victims and AID service providers can and will easily work hand in hand to ensure quick recovery and rebuilding of affected areas.

Geography of focus (500 characters)

Africa; why? Because she has the most entrepreneurial minds but lowest literacy rate with 64% in Sub Saharan Africa as per world bank 2016. Our greatest resource as described by Mr McEva Temofe is our Human population but With nearly 2000 languages on the continent, GDP per capita of $1900 we can only propel the growth of Africa to be self sustaining if we can bring her people together.

Building Bridges: What bridge does your idea build between people on the move and neighbors towards a shared future of stability and promise? (500 characters)

Seemless Communication for purposes including access to opportunities, transfer of professional expertise, experience and technical know how, integration between cultures, 'no one left behind' a policy of universal inclusion for all persons regardless of nature such as blindness, deafness, senescence, illiteracy.

What human need is your idea solving for? (1,000 characters)

Capacity to read, respond, understand and be understood by everyone everywhere, increase in opportunities formerly limited by various circumstances including illiteracy, enhanced freedom of expression at various forums, Enable easy communication between volunteers, rescuers, and other AID service providers with the affected victims including evacuation procedures, first aid, Enable the understanding of instructions on medicines, equipment set up and usage procedures, counseling of victims, reports among others for both AID victims and volunteers, rescuers, and other AID service providers. Provision of relevant information and data from victims and AID service providers for quicker assessments and better resource allocation, Victims and AID service providers can and will easily work hand in hand to ensure quick recovery and rebuilding of affected areas.

What will be different within the community of focus as a result of implementing your idea? (1,000 characters)

Community integration for immigrants and natives becoming easier, ease in cross border trade and AID delivery services, security and combatting of foreign terror threats, control of epidemics through easier information attainment from locals, reduced unemployment by doing with language and literacy limitations. Proof will be through surveys and reports from Public Organizations, AID service providers and locals upon three years of usage of the technology.

What is the inspiration behind your idea? (1,000 characters)

Our story is a vision of a society without borders brought by language, varying dialects, illiteracy, differently abled shortcomings like blindness, deafness, dumbness and senescence. We are involved in creating a universal language Artificial Intelligence Algorithm (Z-Algorithm) to create a more inclusive society to the aforementioned effect. And personally believe there's more potential in our societies than meets the eye, if we can accord equal opportunities for everyone,

Describe the dynamics of the community in which the idea is to be implemented. (1,000 characters)

Population Mostly comprised of millennials, diverse array of cultures and dialects, characterized by low literacy levels, constant immigration and emigration, capacity to adopt to technology

How does your idea leverage and empower community strengths and assets to help create an environment for success? (1,000 characters)

The targeted population has higher percentage of middle class with quicker adoption of technology, exposure to various disruptive innovations hence high capacity for effective utilization of this technology, increased broadband and wireless internet coverage, rural electrification, high ICT prevalence in Schools, favorable public policies on IT related investment and applications.

What other partners or stakeholders will work alongside you in implementing the idea, if any? (1,000 characters)

Private sector companies in Artificial Intelligence and Hardware developments and Investment, public Sector players and regulators for ease of implementation and sensitization to our users, Not For Profit players and philanthropists for support to ensure widest possible coverage to all targeted beneficiaries.

Hi Gavin Ziza , great to have you in this challege ! The challenge's idea phase will be closing on 17th August. Could you clarify if you are working directly with the people on the move or IDPs in Uganda? What are the results of the project so far in your blueprint phase?

I would suggest also to have a look at our challenge brief: https://ideo.to/K22qFn and our challenge evaluation criteria: https://ideo.to/NQ6TlJ

To help guide your research, you can have a look at our community research toolkit: https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/5a147545b687370001bfd10c/5d1669526ad3cb33291bf633_User-Experience-Interview.pdf, and possibly create and share with us the project user journey map which is very important to integrate into this platform as you progress in the challenge!

Thanks for the enlightenment, apologies for delayed response.
I plan to work with both IDPs A and people on the move as my blueprint aims to reach out and connect to as many people as possible.

The progress with the concept has been mainly focused on optimizing design and customer feedback regarding the whole project and how it would be of use to them.
