What problem does the idea help to solve and how does your solution work? (2,000 characters maximum)

The main objectives and aim of this idea is to bridge the gap of social inequality and solve the problem of illiteracy, reduce poverty level and empower this community with innovative skills for economic prosperity. The people impacted directly will be (are) the IDPs, refugees and the people on move in Kenya including children, youths and elderly persons in the community. This project idea seek to restore lost hope and dignity of this hopeless and economically disadvantaged community and promote equality in education and life skills development. The project's activities include life skills training, mentorship program, entrepreneurship, literacy and social support. This project is innovative in the sense that it is designed for social and positive impact change for this community. There are many IDPs, refugees, less fortunate and the people on the move such as children, youths and elderly person for example in Africa that are left behind for lack of basic skills, lack of self esteem, self reliance, creativity and knowledge in terms of technology advancement due to poverty and segregation and thus feel excluded from the community. This idea and program is one of the most important ways that the oneness and common good for shared prosperity can be cultivated and among this community, children, youths and elderly person will identify their natural strengths, creativity and build character to foster collective prosperity. I believe that through our efforts, this community, every IPDs, internal or external, people on the move, refugees, every child and youths will acquire skills for life and this community will have a 100% transition and positive result for better life and live above every odds of life.

Geography of focus (500 characters)

This idea is focused on the IDPs, people on the move and refugees community both internally and externally living in Kenya, including teens, youths and elderly people who are the most affected by suffering and hard condition and live hopeless life., The idea will be implemented in Nairobi. It will help them learn life skills that are essentials for their growth and development as they are normally not equipped for shared prosperity.

Building Bridges: What bridge does your idea build between people on the move and neighbors towards a shared future of stability and promise? (500 characters)

This idea is to restore lost hope and dignity of many hopeless IDPs , people on the move , displaced persons and less fortunate in Kenya and to promote equality for shared prosperity regardless of tribe, religion and race. The program will bring peace, sense of ownership among community and creativity for a better future. Life skills is more important that help us live our daily lives.

What human need is your idea solving for? (1,000 characters)

My idea is not about giving the community ready fish but we will teach this community how to fish by themselves. This project idea will result in creating opportunity and equipping IDPs and the people on the move in Kenya with relevant skills for employment, business and job creation, social change, increased productivity, self esteem, self reliance, creativity, character formation, literacy and eradicate suffering and poverty level. It will bring hope, restore lost glory, ignite positive impact and contribute to economic and shared prosperity for this community

What will be different within the community of focus as a result of implementing your idea? (1,000 characters)

We will carefully measure our efforts so we can better understand through increased productivity, social change and living standard in order to continually improve our impact. We will set aggressive targets reflecting the high expectations we have for our work and our communities for economic and sustainable development. Our primary customers are youths, teens and kids of low to middle class living in the urban slums, and rural areas so that to influence and help them learn life skills that is essentials for their growth and development. This idea and project will be innovative based on our approach that we use and it is designed for social and positive impacts, It is all inclusive and everyone has an opportunity to take part and learn and gain its benefits and services.

What is the inspiration behind your idea? (1,000 characters)

Love and passion are my strongest desire that drives me to do what I do at the best. I drive satisfaction working and serving economically disadvantaged community, children, youths, orphans and less fortunate in the society. I hold on the vision of championing and empowering this community, IDPs and people on the move in Africa to have access to quality personal and development programmes that can expand their social space and skills in order bridge the gap of social exclusion and to grow in their lives for shared prosperity.

Describe the dynamics of the community in which the idea is to be implemented. (1,000 characters)

The community my project idea is focused on is one that feels like is left out and are socially excluded. Most of the kids, youths, orphan and less fortunate people have no say in the society. These are people that lives in the shanty houses, have no basic needs, are exploited for lack of skills and proper education. They are forgeten and used by the rich and enable individuals. Kenya is one example of such countries that have the biggest slums in Africa and in the World as well. Live in the slums is not easy as I have been living in the slums for many years now. I understand how it feels not to have good education, when you lack life skills that can help you live better and when all your hopes and gone. There are many challenges that this community faces and this gives me the desire to work even for one single person. I believe that I can change one person per time.

How does your idea leverage and empower community strengths and assets to help create an environment for success? (1,000 characters)

This community is blessed with creativity, passion and will power to live above sufferings and segregation. All they lack is proper support through empowerment program such as this that can help them gain capacity for progress and success. One of the most important ways that entrepreneurship spirit can be cultivated and enhanced is by helping children and youths identify their natural strengths. This idea will add to many strengths by identifying this need and its mission and activities is to impart the communities ,kids and youths with the knowledge of practical life skills and offers them entrepreneurship and mentorship programs to make them blossom and create a safer environment for shared prosperity.

What other partners or stakeholders will work alongside you in implementing the idea, if any? (1,000 characters)

I will work with my team, Volunteers groups, social workers, trainers, mentors and experts and reach out to other relevant government authorities, supporters, well wishers and other interested party for common good.

As a group, we have done so much in terms of putting together the necessary mechanism and plan to actualize our big dream of this idea. We have done market research, speaking to differently target community in and around who have given us the assurance that our choice of idea and service is viable and. As a team, we have been able to work together and come up with innovative ways of how to run and carry out this project. We have already identified possible locations for projects implementations and we are networking together as we source for financing. We shared our ideas and interest and started the initial process of drawing a business plan; executive summary and organizational structure, business model and financial projections to help us incorporate an entity in future. Our passion, dedication and effort is what helps us to work towards solving this problem in the community.

Hello Emmanuel Juma Omuya! It is great to restore lost hope and dignity of the hopeless and economically disadvantaged community. You may agree that disabled persons are the most vulnerable and hopeless group of all ages. Yes, disability is same as poverty, illiteracy, destitution, street begging, among others in many parts of the world. So, are there provisions in this design to reduce their illiteracy and poverty by promoting equality in education and life skills development? Sure; there can never be a shared future of economic prosperity without disabled persons in the map.

Yes, there is for provision and a way we can create opportunity and empower this people in our community. All is needed is the right support to equip them with life and basic literacy skills which adds value .Though resources is minimal but we can still work to empower and restore hope in our community
