What problem does the idea help to solve and how does your solution work? (2,000 characters maximum)

The "Future Alive ProjeKt" is targeted towards displaced persons within the country and a prototype for the world at large. In the course of my findings, I came to discover that many displaced persons were not just purposeless people who fled because their homes and lives were in danger by some harmful groups/persons. We came to find out that most displaced persons had a life, a means of livelihood, had dreams in their hearts to achieve but for some circumstances beyond their control had to flee their homes, businesses, dreams in search of life and greener pastures. Most times they find those dreams and potentials locked up in their hearts for the rest of their lives living in poor camps with dehumanising living conditions. The root of this problem in most cases ranges from the language barrier, cultural perceptions of the host communities and inability to access financial support to kickstart those dreams. These people most times find themselves in areas were they cannot even communicate their dreams, aspirations and goal, were they are not regarded let alone to start up their lives. The "Future Alive ProjeKt" is about developing an online and offline platform where language won't be a barrier, gives a cultural reorientation to host communities as well as displaced persons and most of all to give displaced persons access to loanable FINANCIAL SUPPORT which allows for increased financial support that will be monitored by a credit score system enabling them to reach their dreams.

Geography of focus (500 characters)

The Geographical focus of this project is the suburbs of Lugbe IDP camp and its environs all in Abuja which is located in the North central geopolitical zone in Nigeria. The reason for choosing this community is as a result of the fact that there is an already existing IDP camp with almost 10,000 displaced persons who are the major stakeholders together with the host community itself

Building Bridges: What bridge does your idea build between people on the move and neighbors towards a shared future of stability and promise? (500 characters)

The bridge built by the "Future Alive Project" between people on the move and neighbors towards a shared future of stability is that of communication, reorientation of wrong cultural perception and mostly a sustainable financial support system to enable displaced persons to pursue their dreams. Thereby bringing a more stable and fulfilled society where everyone begins to have a strong reason for living.

What human need is your idea solving for? (1,000 characters)

It is no longer news that poverty has become a global menace with Nigeria almost turning the poverty capital of the the world. No thanks to war and other man-made/natural crisis that has led to increase in the population of Nigerians living in extreme poverty to a whooping 96.9 million which represents almost 50% of the country's estimated 200 million population of which 2.7 million persons are displaced "Future Alive ProjeKt" will be going beyond meeting the basic needs to help displaced persons fulfill their human needs of joy, hope and dignity by carefully and simultaneously integrating displaced persons into the society using an online and offline platform that will be made up of volunteers from the host community as most of all give displaced persons access to loanable financial support with 0% interest rate to kick off a business or expand a skill.

What will be different within the community of focus as a result of implementing your idea? (1,000 characters)

The resultant effect of the "Future Alive ProjeKt" is that the host community and the IDP camps will begin to experience more peaceful, non violent setting as well as a mutually beneficial relationship as the interaction on our platforms will lead to more exchange of ideas. This will eliminate or reduce the consequences of poverty which ranges from increased crime rate that comes as result of hopelessness and desperation enough to pressure displaced persons into activities such as substance abuse to extremism which has been strongly linked to be one of the economic effects of poverty However the change will be measured using our credit score system that will measure the profitability of disabled persons to the society in form of service and products rendered.

What is the inspiration behind your idea? (1,000 characters)

The inspiration behind this idea came one early morning juggling as I noticed the influx of more people mostly women and children within the Lugbe Suburb and an increase in the rate of crime i the community. I began to ask questions to later find out that those were victims of of the insurgency and other man-made crisis within the North central part of Nigeria. I had to start thinking of how can these people get a sense of living and be made to stand again and represent something.

Describe the dynamics of the community in which the idea is to be implemented. (1,000 characters)

The Lugbe community is located in the Abuja municipal area council, a densely pouplated area with a population of well over 50,000. The host community is made up of people from all works of life as well as different religions, sections and tribes of the country. This class of citizens are mostly open-minded individuals and will help to foster the "Future Alive ProjeKt"

How does your idea leverage and empower community strengths and assets to help create an environment for success? (1,000 characters)

The idea will leverage on the fact that the community is made up of different people with different skill sets and trades and will be willing to interact and learn other cultures as well as will love to be a greater part of pursuing the SDG goal of eliminating poverty before 2030. Also poverty will be a unifying factor as the area is heavily populated by individuals whom cannot afford the the heavy tax and rent paid within the city's metropolis. This will be greatly leveraged to see that IDP's are integrated and see themselves as a part of the solution and not just the problem.

What other partners or stakeholders will work alongside you in implementing the idea, if any? (1,000 characters)

"Future Alive ProjeKt" is looking forward to partnering with faith based organizations, civil society organizations, United Nations High commission for Refugees(UNHCR),UNICEF and the government of the federation most of all.
