OUTSOURCE PRODUCTION PROCESSING CENTER FOR LOW/NO CAPITAL MSMEs MANUFACTURERS
I intend to provide processing facility for micro manufacturers who have no fund to buy machines and therefore produce with hands
These are women mixing food. If they had a place where they could take the raw materials to and with small amount of money, the material is grounded and mixed and filled for them, then life will be easier for them. Not only that, the food they produce will be more hygienic. There is need for those who need dryers, Boilers, Grinders, Fryers, Mixers, Fillers, etc. to be able to have a hub for this. Such a platform will increase their income, make the product better and healthier.
What problem does the idea help to solve and how does your solution work? (2,000 characters maximum)
Here in Nigeria we have the big manufacturers who produce all kinds of products, especially in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods. They possess all machineries needed and they utilize their machines for themselves.
However for the small beginner, especially women and young people, if they must make any positive headway they will have to acquire all machines needed for their production. Where you can’t buy the machines you have to do it manually. This makes it very difficult, stressful, and unhygienic. It also makes growth very slow because the product is uncompetitive due to poor production and packaging.
This problem has made difficult the growth of MSMEs in Nigeria. I want to build an outsource center. Such a place will boost the production level of the community. Government does not help. People cannot get loan to buy machineries because they are poor and have no collateral. Life is difficult and this discourages people from venturing into manufacturing.
If I am able to establish an outsource center, it will ease production process, encourage more people to go into production and increase jobs and income among the lower middle class.
I studied Entrepreneurship and Business Management and I am into production. This is a huge challenge in my city and country. I have experience and I know what people need.
People need spray dryers, filling machines, grinding machines, frying machines, drying machines, food/beverage canning machines, boilers, soap making machines, etc. These are production facilities we intend to acquire in the proposed outsource center. No micro manufacturer can afford this. They can only afford to pay for a just in time processing service.
To back this up, I will also establish along this line a production training school. This will teach people about production (how to do it) and help boost the economy.

What is the inspiration behind your idea? (1,000 characters)
The hardship I face in producing. I needed to bag my herbal tea and I could not do that because i did not find a tea bagging machine. I will need a lot of money to import a tea bagging machine. If there was a tea bagging facility, I could start with a budget of $1000.00US as against $30-40,000.00US.
