Check out the Collaboration Map to see how winning Local Food Challenge concepts are connected to all the community-goodness
We're in a celebratory mood this week! The Local Food Challenge has been flavourful and full of fresh ideas. We're super excited to finally announce the awesome winning concepts. Like all our challenges – the final hit-list reflects the collaboration of many OpenIDEATORS from inspirations to builds to virtual teams – so it's congratulations all round on the spirited efforts in re-imagining the future of food. Check out on the buzz around our recent trip to Queensland for the Ideas Festival, where we brainstormed shortlisted ideas – and watch out for updates of ongoing impact from the challenge on the soon to be launched Realisation Phase.
Next week we're off to New York to accept our Webby Award for the best Community site. We're accepting it on behalf of all of you – because you're what makes us a community! As per Webby tradition, we've been asked to give a 5-word acceptance speech and would like to get your help on this. Send us your suggestions via the call for submissions on our Facebook page or on Twitter, using the hashtag #oi5. Submissions close on Friday 10am, California time – so get cracking with your concise creative ideas on what we should say to celebrate this community accomplishment.
And we've got a brand new, exciting challenge launching next week. Stay tuned for details on a fresh avenue to design better, together, for social good. Get ready to roll and collectively ideate yet again!
