A rip-roaring week at OpenIDEO! We've launched a brand new challenge with Standford's Haas Center for Public Service which seeks to increase the number of registered bone marrow donors to help in the fight against cancer. Come join us on the Bone Marrow Donation Challenge – we're currently gathering inspirations with the help of our switched on OpenIDEATORS. Swab a cheek. Save a life. Spread the word.
Meanwhile the Maternal Health and Mobile Technology Challenge has moved from the insight-filled Inspiration Phase into concepting. Migrating phases always calls for an intense synthesis session to select themes which will inspire relevant concepts. We're hoping this will feed a live, vibrant, out-of-the-box, online brainstorm based on the provocative questions that each theme raises.
Further afield, our IDEO Ghanasan Team from the Sanitation Challenge have recently headed back to Kumasi to trial their prototypes. They'll be seeking feedback on various functional elements, service scenarios and market positioning before returning to San Francisco to refine their prototypes further. Keep an eye on their Ghanasan blog for more updates.
So many avenues for participation just now on OpenIDEO – we hope you'll be swinging by with your inspirations, concepts, creative thinking and conversations!
