Concepting action at the Cornell Voting Challenge OpenSTORM
This week sees us deep in the Voting Challenge Concepting phase – with ideas being posted around our key themes: Design for Flexibility, Educate Everyone, Improve the Experience, Rethink Where to Vote & Support Independence. To get your creative juices flowing in the right direction, we've posted a list of personas to help everyone think about the kinds of people we might consider in our concepts. Great ideas start with people, right?
We were excited to hear from students at Cornell University about the OpenSTORM they held last week. They shared some great insights and learnings on their brainstorming event – worth checking out if you are thinking of trying something similar with your class or student group. We're looking forward to hearing from more folks on how you're collaborating offline and then joining us online over at OpenIDEO.
This month's Featured Ideator is Mike McDearmon – a a tech-savvy jazz drummer who’s just moved to New York. He grabbed our attention on the Vibrant Cities Challenge and shares his thoughts on how the ride has been so far. Stay tuned to see who we feature next!
