Mobile Training Camp for Entrepreneurship concept from the Invest in Local theme.
Excitement always reigns as we switch phases and this week is no different! Our fast & furious Grameen Social Business Challenge has passed the baton from Inspiration to Concepting and is already attracting brilliant ideas. Come over and explore the challenge themes of Women and Children, Invest in Local, Maximise Resources, Awareness + Storytelling, Community Connections and Inviting Outside Interest – and post your fab concepts plus join a conversation!
To help everyone get a better idea about social business and life in Caldas, our friends at the Grameen Creative Lab hosted a live webcast for our community on this week's Worldwide Social Business Day. If you missed it you can catch up on the highlights and insights on our summary post. We've also had our IDEO buddy Jocelyn Wyatt chime in with some tips on designing in low-income communities. And of course, there's our Brainstorm-in-a-Box toolkit, devised especially for this challenge to kick-start your ideas. You could get together with some mates and hold an OpenSTORM with the toolkit and really get those concepts pouring in!
We've also got a fresh Realisation update on our Bone Marrow Challenge – this time on OpenIDEATORS who have been inspired into action. We hope that others of you will be prompted into action across various challenges and let us know how you're creating impact for social good.
