Prototyping for the Healthy Ageing Challenge to connect generations
We're on the last sprint of our Healthy Ageing Challenge Refinement phase this week! Folks are building out ideas in collaboration both online and off. We're especially excited by ideas like Different Generations. Shared Humanity where ideator Christine Valerio has actually held a prototype workshop with seniors and others in her own community to trigger some early intergenerational goodness while gathering learnings about her idea along the way. Check out this week's Community Champion update from Annie which highlights more collaborative interaction insights. Plus you can also read about how IDEO designers were inspired by a 91 year old to focus on healthy ageing solutions.
In mid-September we'll be launching a new challenge on nurturing creative confidence in young people – and we're keen to encourage educators and faculty from around the world to join in. In an early experiment, we're partnering with Anne-Laure Fayard, assistant professor at NYU-Poly, to more purposefully reach out to educators at all levels. Sign up to receive updates.
