Visual from Karoline's Staying in the Loop idea on our Healthy Ageing Challenge
Plenty of ideating-goodness this week on OpenIDEO! Our Health Ageing Challenge Ideas phase is in full swing and canny concepts are being formed and evolved. The phase is still open for a couple more weeks, so join us with your fresh thinking and keep building your ideas with the input of others in our community. Coming up with an initial idea and posting it is fun – and from there you can strengthen it by incorporating improvements based on reaching out to seniors for feedback or trying out a small experiment to uncover more insights about the direction you're heading in. (Fun fact: when we were developing OpenIDEO, we actually did a lightweight experiment on Facebook to learn more about how real people would respond to various aspects of our OpenIDEO concept. This helped us refine our thinking in a human-centred way by raising both opportunities and issues that we couldn't have imagined without engaging others).
Speaking of human-centred – check out this awesome empathy exercise that Nadine Stares from IDEO London set up. What other ways can you think of to help inject more empathy into your thinking for this challenge? And also be sure to check out another challenge update from Annie, our Community Champion – with loads of great tips on getting involved in our Ideas phase.
