We’ve been on an exciting journey with our Youth Employment Challenge, from 355 inspirations, to 151 great concepts to our Top 20 shortlist announced just last week.
Behind the scenes, the OpenIDEO team has been working hard to convene a judging panel of high profile experts in the areas of youth employment, career navigation, policy development and business practice. We’re therefore delighted to announce our 6 member expert panel, who will be joining our challenge team at IDEO London in late September to review and select the winning concepts for our challenge:
Rajeeb Day, Founder/CEO of
Will Hutton, Chair of the Big Innovation Centre at The Work Foundation
Antony Jenkins, Chief Executive of Barclays
Kate Robertson, Co-Founder of One Young World
Naomi Timperley, Director of Enterprise Lab
Ella Weston, Co-Founder of Tech Girls in the UK
In the meantime, we’re really excited to see folks joining in conversations to iterate shortlisted ideas for impact. If you’ve got a concept in the shortlist, be sure to update your post with the latest feedback and thinking that you’re keen on. You might even think about illustrating them further with visuals so that our panel can fully appreciate the impact of your ideas.
And to everyone in our community, we hope you’ll continue to be part our efforts by providing your insights and input to help the Top 20 ideas grow. In addition, we’ll be looking for your evaluations in a week’s time, so be sure to let us know which concepts you’re most excited about so that we can bring your voice to the judging room with us. Then stay tuned for the big reveal of our Winners Announcement in early October!

I think that probably all people want to make the best career. It's very good when people are satisfied with their job. To have the desired job you should be a great specialist, you should always improve yourself. But it is also important to be able to represent yourself because you can go unnoticed. A resume is one of the ways to represent yourself (you always can get help )
